Nationwide Inventory Professionals Licensee Earns Certification
Kate LeGrand, owner of Capital Counts Inventory, earns industry certification.
PRESS RELEASE – The National Inventory Certification Association™ (NICA) announced that Kate LeGrand, owner of Capital Counts Inventory, has earned the designation of Certified Inventory Specialist (CIS). LeGrand is a Licensee of Nationwide Inventory Professionals. Achieving this designation confirms her knowledge to provide quality residential and small business contents inventory services.
There is an increasing awareness of the necessity and benefits of having a prepared photographic and written record of one’s personal property. This knowledge and the ever-increasing busy lifestyles of homeowners and business owners alike create a growing demand for a professional inventory service provider.
Founder of Nationwide Inventory Professionals, Mike Hartman stated, “We believe in the importance of continuing education, and know the value of being a part of an industry association. This led us to include their 1st year of membership in NICA. An additional benefit of the License Agreement is that we also cover the costs of the required courses and the certification exam. Kate’s professional background solidifies that education is essential when you want to put the client first.”
LeGrand agrees in with Hartman’s comment about education. “As an Accountant and Controller, I was always needing to stay on top of the new IRS codes. Continuing education is extremely important, no matter what industry one chooses. This designation of CIS helps show my clients and prospective clients that I have taken the extra steps to be a leader in the personal property inventory sector.”
A requirement for certification and membership with NICA is to agree to conduct business according to the established industry Code of Ethics. Based in Plainfield, Indiana, Capital Counts Inventory provides residential and commercial asset inventory services in Central Indiana.
