Owners of First State Inventory Earn Industry Certification
Credibility and confidence came quickly for Licensees through achievement of Certified Inventory Specialist designation.
PRESS RELEASE – Nationwide Inventory Professionals announces that Licensees Jim and Vince Stinchecum, owners of First State Inventory, have earned the designation of Certified Inventory Specialist (CIS) through the industry association. Achieving this designation provides industry credentials that helps assure clients of professionalism.
There is a surge of awareness from ancillary industries as this industry grows. Insurance agents are encouraging policyholders to have a home or business inventory. Estate attorneys refer inventory professionals to their executor clients to complete the emotional estate inventory task. Accountants recommend this important documentation to their business clients.
Founder of Nationwide Inventory Professionals, Mike Hartman stated, “We believe in the importance of continuing education, and know the value of being a part of an industry association. This led us to include our Licensees’ 1st year of membership in NICA. An additional benefit of the License Agreement is that we also cover the costs of the required courses and the certification exam. The Stinchecum brothers have a vast background in business and both value continuing education.”
“Investing in the Business Package offered by Nationwide Inventory Professionals was a great decision on many levels. One of the components we find extremely important is the certification. Starting a business requires a lot of work, and having this education and knowledge provided to us really shortened the learning curve,” explained Vince Stinchecum.
In addition to passing the courses, a requirement for certification and membership with NICA is to agree to conduct business according to the established industry Code of Ethics. Based in Lewes, Delaware, First State Inventory offers residential, small business, and estate inventory services.
